Flea markets sometimes have surprisingly good merchandise, you just have to be willing to look.
I got this little baby for $5 at the Swap Shoppe (If you don't mind the fakes, of course, nothing you find there is the real thing). Besides the good deals, its a fun place to go to eat really bad food and buy a lot of shit you don't need.
Zara also has good deals but you have to catch them during the 50% storewide sale. They're usually not over-the-top expensive, but if you're cheap like me, wait for the sale. I am really into European fashion (especially Spanish) and getting the most up to date trends from Europe ... this is definitely the place for it. I bought some light pink ballerina flats (retail: $70) for $25.
